Rihanna makes donation in her grandmothers name

Rihanna made a 1.75 million dollar donation in the memory of her late grandmother Clara Braithwaite.
The donation went towards purchasing three pieces of equipment for Queen Elizabeth hospital in Barbados.

Rihanna said the donation was her way of giving back to the community.
The hospitals radiology unit has been renamed the Clara Braithwaite center for oncology and nuclear medicine after Rihannas gradmother who passed away in June.

Rihanna released her 7th album in as many years "Unapologetic" and it was #1 it has been on the charts for 4 weeks, and is #15 this week falling from the 12th spot last week.
