Top 3 Moments of 2011 VMAS.

1. Bruno Mars - Tribute to Amy Winehouse 

Bruno Mars did a amazing job of paying respect to the recently departed Grammy award winning singer Amy Winehouse,before they performed the song Valerie,Russell Brand (Kate Perry's Hubby) took the stage and said some kind words then Tony Bennett took the stage and showed some video of Amy singing Jazz,it was a surreal moment to me,I have to give credit to Bruno Mars for the amazing tribute.

Even though Amy was a soulful jazz style singer, I thought that Bruno Mars did an amazing job performing although it really isn't their genre of music, they showed so much zest and energy and love,it was amazing.

2. Lil Wayne - Ripped and Rockin

Lil Wayne who's new CD The Carter 4 is available for download now had a awesome performance.

He came out slow at first soulfully singing and then BAM he took off his shirt and he was ripped like a professional body builder,you can tell that Lil wayne has been exercising, he was running & rapping he just owned the stage that night, I love Lil Wayne and I think he may be the greatest true artist of the 20th century before his career is over. 

He could over take Michael Jackson,Elvis Presley or anyone else because the fact is he can do whatever he wants, the sky is the limit for him.

Lil wayne is gonna be around for a long time people don't hate,he is hot.

3.Adele performing someone like you.

All I can say is wow, Adele is a great singer - I'm gonna let you look at the video below.

I had not paid much attention to her before the VMAs but I must say that after her performance she has won me over as a fan.

Amy Winehouse died with no illegal drugs in her system,according to her family

I think she died from a broken heart. A official inquest into her death will begin in October.

It jumped to #1 again after Amy death and sales are off the charts.






I will continue to remember Amy as a amazing singer and a style trendsetter.

Kat Von D may be making wedding plans

Kat Von D is back with Jessie James.

She is proudly wearing her engagement ring again.

I think that since L.A. Ink is being cancelled,she can spend more time with Jesse.


Isn't it ironic that she went ahead and got his face tattooed on her when they were separated,I guess it is true what I said every tattoo has a story.


I think you all know how I feel about Jesse, I think he is a loser,for lack of a better word.


So Kat if you do read this.


Keep a eye on him and don't forget what he did to Sandra Bullock.

You are to good of a person to put up with any BS from him.


I will say that I hope Jesse has learned from his mistakes and the he does not take her for granted anymore.


Because for any relationship to work you have to have trust.


Although Jesse has been shady in the past if their relationship is going to work Kat will have to forgive him.


There is a difference between forgetting and forgiving,


I wish them the best and I hope that Jesse can learn to be a good husband and can show us that he is really a decent person after all.


I guess we will have to wait and see.

Earthquake in New York WTF?

A 5,8 magnitude earthquake centered in Virginia - gave the east coast a big shake,I felt in here in Alabama.


Believe it or not it shook New York city sending people running out of office buildings and businesses like the world was coming to a end.


It was one of the strongest quakes ever to hit the east coast and it left many people in shock,marveling at what just happened.


To me it is amazing at how long the quake lasted, it shook for a solid 30 seconds which seems like 10 minutes when it is happening.


Look at the look on peoples face in the picture below.

In New York people feared for their lives as buildings swayed.
The floors underneath them buckled and many thought that the office towers they work in would collapse at any second.
A friend told me that it was the scariest thing he has ever experienced.
He said when it hit he was in his office on the phone and at first he didn't know what was happening,his pictures shook off the wall,he got off the phone and ran for cover under a conference table in a nearby room and then it was over.


Twitter went crazy as many as 5000 tweets a second exploded into the timeline.

Apple employees evacuated it's flagship store on Fifth avenue in NYC.


Mayor Michael Bloomberg has said that today was stressful but NYC was lucky to not have major harm to the city and he was thankful that no-one was killed due to the earthquake to his knowledge.

It has been tough being Kat Von D lately.


The T.V. show that helped to make her famous L.A.Ink is getting cancelled.


2011 will be the last season of L.A. Ink


T.L.C. said Kat decided to cancel her hit show after only its 4th season.


Kat vented on twitter saying "I love how me deciding to not continue doing L.A.Ink turns into the show being cancelled"

Anorexia

I have noticed a disturbing trend in the world.
Teenage girls think that being skinny is sexy.


Lets face it, with peer pressure and a society that is obsessed with celebrities,it can be hard for a teenage girl to be comfortable with their looks & weight.


They have the misconception that starving themselves gives them a chance to become a model,actress or the next superstar.


Or they think that they will never find a guy to love them,because they are too fat.


When in reality some may be suffering from Anorexia.
I am not a doctor,if you think you have a eating disorder you should see a doctor A.S.A.P


What is Anorexia Nervosa?


It is a combination of a two disorders.
A eating & psychological disorder with a distorted body image.


Typically a person with anorexia will begin dieting to lose weight.
Over time the weight loss is seen as a sign of control.
The drive to lose weight is secondary to control & fears relating to their body.
The person continues the vicious cycle of dieting while having a distorted body image.


They may also

• constantly think about food
• exercise too much
• use laxatives
• overuse diet pills
• use enemas
• use diuretics
• feel fat when others say you aren't
• are horrified of gaining weight
• lie about eating or hide food
• base your self worth on your weight

This cycle soon becomes an obsession.

It takes over the individuals body and mind.

If something isn't done to help them,they could literally starve to death.

Girls remember that if a guy can't accept you for who you are.

Ask your friends & family for support.

Let them know if you are depressed and tell them what is bothering you.

If you are being bullied at school tell your parents or teacher.

80's Hair Bands

The 1980's produced so many good bands.

I remember that most of the bands from that era ,wore make-up and had long hair with screaming guitars and most were awesome in concert.


The better looking the singer was, the more success the band had.


People also went to concerts more then, you could get a general admission ticket for about $15.00 


I saw most of the bands listed below LIVE in concert-when I say most I mean 23 out of the 25, that is simply because in the 80's people supported bands by going and seeing them live and buying their CD's and merchandise.


CD's sold back then, not like today, since the internet has killed CD sales.


Most of the bands listed below are platinum sellers..over a million copies, it is a miracle now if someone sells a million copies of a CD.


The days of the local record stores are over...gone with the wind, but I am curious?

I often wonder why the world seems to be getting more evil everyday.

Why people are obsessed with EVIL

I think it is because SATAN rules the earth.

Part of the problem of evil is the problem of why Satan is given so much freedom to harm the world, when God has the right and power to throw him in the pit. God will one day do away with Satan altogether (Revelation 20 :3,10). That will be no injustice to Satan. Nor would it be unjust for God to do it today. So why doesn't He, in view of how much misery Satan causes?

Satan roams like a devouring lion to destroy faith (1 Peter 5:8); he makes people sick and diseased (Acts 10:38); he tempts to sin (Luke 22:3-4); he blinds the minds of unbelievers (2 Corinthians 4:4); he takes people captive to do his will (2 Timothy 2:26); he kills (Revelation 2:10). One day God will stop him from doing this and I think it will be soon.

I pray that you are a saved Christian and are ready when Gabriel blows his horn.

It isn't to late,all you have to do is admit that you are a sinner and ask God to forgive you and accept him into your heart.

Go to Church and get baptized, ask your friends or family where a good church is to attend and start going and be obedient to GOD

God is good he will not fail you like man.
God wants you to be happy on earth and he has the power to make it so.
Be thankful for all the things you have and learn to love god.


Don't put your faith or time into false idols, they will disappoint you.
Put your faith in GOD
